Salupongan International facilitates solidarity exchanges throughout the year in which participants learn about the cultural, socio-economic and political reality of our partner indigenous, Moro and peasant communities in the hinterlands throughout Mindanao.

Through these solidarity exchanges, both global participants and local communities share knowledge, skills and resources for the benefit and development of their respective communities. Experience the everyday lives of the indigenous Lumad and Moro families, listen to their stories, help farm their ancestral lands, visit their community schools and learn first hand about their culture, struggle and legacy.

Bear witness to the beauty of the land and gain an understanding of the reality behind the lives of those who till it.

As of 2017,  Salupongan International has hosted 120 international solidarity exchange participants from across the world and 100 local solidarity exchange participants from across the Philippines.

We invite you to join us, share your skills and learn first hand directly from our community partners.  If you are interested in participating or want to learn more about our Solidarity Exchanges please fill out the form below and we will respond at our earliest convenience.  Thank you.
